Hi, thanks for looking at this mostly irrelevant information. I have tried to avoid the use of bitmaps for graphics as much as possible. This is reflected in all of our on-line publications that are in Acrobat and PostScript format. All of the figures should withstand zooming without exposing any jaggies, and may be printed with high quality.

If you care about such mundane details, this web server is
 Powered by NEXTSTEP

Much of the content of this site has been generated using NEXTSTEP systems. This includes electrophysiological data acquisition (spike waveform discriminator) during experiments, data analysis, graphing and data visualization, and document preparation. On-line publications are prepared from pre-galley proof files and PostScript figures using FrameMaker on NEXTSTEP. PostScript files are processed by Acrobat Distiller for Windows to generate PDF files.

We do use PCs for stimulus generation, experiment control, and Windoze for running Acrobat Distiller and other usual things.
